A sci-fi fantasy film in
the tradition of Star Wars or Flash Gordon. Part of the film
uses typical 2D cartoon animation while some scenes involve
computer animation. The plot is silly and the characters are
only moderately
interesting. It is hard to figure out if the film makers intended to make a more adult animated sci-fi film or
just a lot of eye candy for the kiddies. Some of the scenes that
combine the traditional animation with the computer animation
are a lot of fun to watch. You do have to give the film makers
credit for being the first ones to really try this combination
of animated techniques. RATING
